eTwo Sublative

Smooth out the lines of time:

Sublative rejuvenation enables you to achieve a more youthful appearance.  This technology has been shown to effectively treat mild to moderate wrinkles, red and brown spots, and textural irregularities.  This is truly the next generation of predictable and effective rejuvenation technology.

How does Sublative work?

The ergonomic Sublative applicator delivers bipolar radio frequency energy via a matrix of electrodes in the disposable applicator tip.

This fractionated delivery of RF energy causes micro-epidermal ablative injuries with wider spread dermal injury.  This initiates a strong wound healing response in the dermal matrix while also minimizing the damage to the epidermis.  Less affected tissue surrounding the matrix points may be stimulated by heat which helps accelerate the healing process, leading to a smoother, rejuvenated appearance of the skin.

Mild to moderate wrinkles and superficial skin discolorations are reduced, and skin texture becomes more smooth and elastic.

Can all areas be treated?

The Sublative RF applicator comes with multiple tip configurations for various treatment protocols - 64 pin tips for fast full face improved skin tone and texture, as well as the 44 pin tip for smaller areas and focused treatments of under-eye laxity, wrinkles around the mouth and forehead wrinkles.

Who should be treated with Sublative?

Treatment is a proven, safe and effective solution for all skin types.

When can patients expect to see results?

Shortly after the treatment there is moderate skin erythema (redness) and oedema (swelling) of the treated area.  This usually subsides within 12-24 hours.  During the healing phase, small pin-point crusts appear in place of each ablated spot where the electrode pins contacted the skin.  These crusts will exfoliate naturally after a few days.

Post treatment, patients may notice tone and texture improvements as a result of increased levels of beneficial collagen and new healthy skin cells which are produced.  With the treatment's dermal impact, mild to moderate wrinkles and superficial skin discolorations are reduced.

The degree of improvement and the number of sessions required are individual to the patient and will vary according to the degree of severity of the skin condition and treatment parameters.

Results appear gradually.  Immediate transient improvement can be noticed after each treatment, however maximum long-term effect is usually notable 2-4 months after treatment conclusion.

How many treatments are recommended?

Typical treatment protocol is 3-5 treatments, 4-6 weeks apart.  The total number of required treatment sessions depends on the skin condition of the patient.

How is the Sublative treatment tolerated by patients?

During treatment, many patients feel a warm, prickly sensation as energy enters their skin.  After treatment a pink or red "sunburn" appearance and feeling is common.  Topical anaesthetic and cooling are often used to reduce discomfort during treatment.

Is there any downtime?

There is minimal downtime with a maximum expected downtime of 2 or 3 days.  Most patients can quickly resume their normal activities immediately post treatment.
